Director of Quality

Working alongside top management and other departments (production, R&D, supply chain, logistics), the Quality Director implements quality standards throughout an organization, deploying and optimizing its quality management systems.

They ensure that all processes comply with the established standards and deliver customer satisfaction while factoring in the following core principle: to instill a culture of continuous improvement by constantly finding ways to improve processes and leading initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and quality.

Quality policy : the Director of Quality introduces an organization’s quality policies and standards, aligning them with strategic targets and the regulations in force.
Quality management systems : the Director of Quality designs and deploys quality management systems to make sure that in-house processes comply with the standards enshrined as a result of regular audits.
Non-compliance : by determining, reviewing and resolving instances of non-compliance, the Director of Quality takes corrective and preventive action to prevent mistakes from recurring.
Training and awareness : the Director of Quality arranges staff trainings to ensure an in-depth understanding of quality standards, related procedures and to demonstrate the critical importance of quality for a company.
Certification and external audits : for Directors of Quality, one of the top priorities is to coordinate company certification, overseeing compliance with relevant quality standards and external audits conducted by independent certifiers and customers.
Claims management : the Director of Quality ensures that dedicated teams routinely log customer complaints and that such teams analyze the underlying causes and take the necessary corrective action to guarantee customer success and enhance the quality of products and services.
Updates to regulations : Directors of Quality stay informed of the latest developments in quality standards and regulations that apply to the organization’s sector, to ensure full compliance.
